Obituary of Patricia Ann Krampf

Patricia (Pat) Ann Krampf, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in Mountain Home, Idaho. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Pat was born in St., Louis, Missouri on March 10, 1938, the only child of John and Anna Wirtz (nee Seifert). After graduating from Bishop DuBourg High School, she started following what she thought was her calling within her Catholic faith and moved into the Convent to pursue her life’s passion of becoming a Nun. However, the Lord had other plans for her as she met and married her beloved husband, Robert G. Krampf. They were married on September 20, 1958, and went on to have three children: Mary Ann, Donna and Robert II. They remained together until his death in 2013.

She is survived by her daughter Donna (Tim) and son-in-law Wayne Thompson, grandchildren Kimberly (Kelly) Hawkins, Jeremy (Kelly) Gleich, Kristen (Corey) Miles, James (Anna) Wilderman, Scott Altilio, Rosa Fraley, Danielle Hoernschemeyer, Justin (Danielle) Thompson, Melissa (Chuck) Stark, Kayla (Matt) Thompson and an abundance of great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, eldest daughter Mary Ann and son Robert II and his wife Lori Fraley.

Patricia will be returning home to Missouri to be laid to rest with her husband in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
