Obituary of Ruby Maxine Negri

Ruby Maxine Negri, “Maxine”, age 77, of Parma, passed away at her son’s home on March 25, 2023. A Celebration of Maxine’s life was held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge #2276. Cremation was under the care of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel in Mountain Home.

Maxine was born May 2, 1945 to Arque and Ruby (Robinson) Overman in Little Field, Texas. When Maxine was in Jr. High, her family moved to Paul, Idaho. After graduating from Minico High, Maxine went to Stevens-Henager Business School in Ogden, Utah where she received her accounting degree. While there, she met the love of her life Bob on a blind date. They later married on December 26, 1967, in Paul, Idaho. Together, they had 2 sons: William “Bill” who was born in Burly, Idaho and Michael “Mike born in Eglin AFB, Florida. Being an airman’s wife, they traveled together when possible. In 1976, their family moved to Mountain Home AFB to be closer to family.

Maxine enjoyed doing ceramics, crafts, sewing but most of all fishing!

Maxine is survived by her sons William “Bill” and wife Christine Negri of Mountain Home, Michael and wife Barbara Negri of Parma, her adopted son Gary Oyler and wife Lorelei of Mountain Home, grandsons William Negri of Boise, Brenden and wife Lillie Negri of Jerome, Cody and wife Sharissa Negri of Wyoming, Robert “Robby” Negri of Kimberly, her adopted grandchildren Tyler and Cheyenne Oyler of Mountain Home and great grandsons David and Decan Negri of Jerome and Jace Negri of Wyoming.

Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert and her sister Nellene “Gene” Talley.

The family would like to thank St. Luke’s Hospice for being so caring during her time of need.
