She was a kind, loving and thoughtful mother and was always there when she was needed to help or comfort others. Doris was the manager at the Salvation Army for many years in Mtn. Home. Doris loved to garden, to knit doll clothes and baby blankets, and to take trips to Jackpot to play. Doris enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She traveled many times back to England to visit friends and family.

Doris is survived by her daughters Carol Queen of Mtn. Home, Sonja Whipple (Jon) of Boise, and son Robert Johnson of Mtn. Home. Her grandchildren; Matthew Queen (Mary Carraway-Queen), Brad (Christy Lyle-Whipple), Maegan, and Derek (Jacinth Stuart-Whipple) Whipple, and her great grandchildren, Shea of Boise, and Colt and Isabella Whipple.
