So many memories....from the dentist office, golf course, lodge, South Dakota hunting, Tuesday poker checks on the guys, to sharing time with family at Pauch and Santa's. Countless kisses on the forehead and always a hug.
Dad, Uncle Pete, and Art have a hot game going with you now!

He was one of the most genuine "people" people I've ever had the honor of knowing. "Johnny B" will always be such a special part of my Mountain Home memories. "Hey txotx!" would be the greeting, followed by a quiz of the latest "goings on." He loved our community and I'm going to miss him.

Until John opened up his practice we had to drive to Boise for dental care. I was about six or seven and that was never a good experience. John was the only dentist in Mtn. Home for many years and those of us who started with him stuck by him because he was not only a good dentist, he was a good friend. there was always something comforting knowing Johnny B was around somewhere. I hope the good lord takes as much comfort from his presence as the rest of us did. Blessings to his family and the friends who miss him.

When I came to Mountain Home in 1972 as a young and naive wife of an Air Force pilot, and was hired as an art teacher at the high school, one of my very first friends was John. We met because I needed his services after a toboggan accident in which I had knocked in several front teeth!! We became fast friends and always shared stories about high school kids. I was lucky enough to have Kim in my classes, and fortunate to always have his support as I became a Mountain Home citizen. He was a man that you could go months, even years, without seeing and pick up where you left off. Not only do so many of us owe our smiles to him, but I'm certain we have all been kissed and hugged by him many times over. His heart was genuine, and his friendship real. His smile was contagious, and certainly his friendship will last all of us our lifetimes too. Rest in peace dear man and thank you.

I met Dr. B and Pam when they were traveling through Colfax, Wa. He was having some health issues and we got him to the hospital to get checked out. They stayed at my motel. As Pam put it in a card she sent me when they got home .. the good Lord puts “special angels” in our paths when we need them most! I had thought about that day quite often and wondered how the two of them were getting along. Today I felt the overwhelming need to try to reach out to them when I found their card. I had kept it because it meant so much to me. 3 years later, but one day too late. Please know these two touched my heart the instant we met. Dr. B was such a sweet man! Praying for all his family, friends and patients! God bless! BJ Gransbery, Siesta Motel
